Customs

Customs are weapon you have put your own touch on. You can upgrade paint or add accessories. You can change components in the gearbox if you are experienced. It is highly encouraged to upgrade your gun. You can add flashlights, muzzle breaks, grips, optics, rails, wraps, slings, taped mags, or anything you want. Like in my other post you can add touches to your gun to make it look similar to your loadout. Customizing can make your gun look incredible. It stands out and it is yours. I suggest putting any touches or accessories to your gun. Accquiring things for your gun is a very fun process make sure you know your measurements. Always think about what will look and work best for your gun. I'm going to show you a couple custom guns.
The far bottom picture is Optic Thunder it was a gun made by Evike, showing all kinds of attaches and things for your gun. There is a video about it too so check it out, Evike Optic Thunder Video

Airsoft Loadouts

In the airsoft world there are many different loadouts depending on your team, job, environment, and weather. Loadouts can cost a lot and most people have custom loadouts. You can add little touches to your loadout and maybe put some patches. I think that custom patterns look great. You will need a lot of things to make a full loadout. You can even have your gun match everything. Now I'm going to show you a couple examples of some custom loadouts. I personally think they look great!

Your loadout really depends on your environment, the weather, your position, and your team. Remember airsoft is fun especially with a custom loadout.A full loadout can cost quite a bit of money so maybe you can acquire a few things at a time. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed!

Buying A First Gun

One key step to buying your first gun is to never go above your desired price range. Alright, so buying your first gun can be a little tricky. Make sure you know what type of design of gun you want, Bullpup, M4/M16, Sig, Sniper, MG, Mp5 CQB (Close quarters battle) or CQC (close quarters combat) weapons, PDW, G36, AK47. These are just some main categories of weapons you can get. Once you get your main category, you can find many distinct models in that group. I personally would choose from the M4 category, but I would get one that is unique in it's own way. If you find some different models in your category think about the price next. A descent starter gun costs $130-$240. Make sure you are getting a descent gun that is good quality. If you under spend then you will be getting a cheaply made gun that will break soon after it has been purchased. DO NOT BUY A spring gun if you are planning to play regularly and at a field, it is a complete waste of money. Only get a spring gun if you want to conserve ammo and target practice. If you overspend on your first gun you may not use it as much and you maybe don't need a gun that good. So, make for dang sure you have a reasonable price range and if you want a gun that maybe costs a little more do not get a cheaper gun. Because if it is one you really want then you should just save up, the opportunity may not come again. Take advantage of shipping deals, and percentages off, they can really help you get the one you want. Search online for promo codes or anything you need to know. Looking at reviews and videos about the gun you want is always a great idea, take into thought about what others have looked at. Check the comments on the gun you are looking at. You can always contact others, or the store itself about questions you may have, and if you are thinking about something just ask. I will show you a few examples of some good starter guns and their price. I would say an fps of 350 is good for a beginners gun.

Gas Guns

Gas weapons are common in the airsoft world. Many people use them in CQB games, or indoor games. Gas guns use what they say they send the bb's down range using many types of gas icluding, green gas, red gas, and propane. A lot of people like gas guns because it makes it a little more realistic, instead of the electric sound, the gas guns make it pretty loud, the realism is what many enjoy about gas blowbacks and gas guns in general. Many gas guns blow back to make it even more realistic, the gun goes back and forth after each shot. Gas can be pretty expensive, so many people get a propane adapter for their guns. The gas is put into the magazine in quick two second bursts and usually can last you a whole round of airsoft. Most people have a secondary gas pistol no matter what. Gas guns were used before the AEG was invented. Gas guns can be made into any model of gun. You also need to use silicon oil in the barrel of your gun to keep it going well and shooting on target. I have inserted a video of how an airsoft gas blow back pistol works and how it functions. Airsoft GI has great demonstration videos on YouTube as well as many ways to maintain, upgrade, clean, and much more.

AEG's

AEG's are short for Automatic Electric Guns. They run on little battery connectors and need to be charged. They are really fun and reliable you can just watch the bb's stream out you can use anything heavier than .12 gram bb's. Most people use AEG's and carry around extra batteries. It is cheaper than buying gas and continuing to fill it up. AEG's can be in any model of gun, even a sniper. Players of all skill levels typically use AEG's. The batteries can be wired to different parts of the gun and different guns have different battery compartments, some batteries are connected to different wiring. You can use lipo batteries if your gun can handle it. It makes your gun shoot really fast.

Review on Walther P99 Soft Air Spring Pistol

Hey guys I will be doing a review on my cheap Walther licensed spring pistol. This was my first airsoft gun, and it is obviously not the best. I purchased this gun from a sports store. This is a good beginner close range sidearm . You need heavier bb's because they drift  (drifting is when the bb's curve) sometimes. I would suggest a co2 pistol or green gas pistol, but if you are looking for something unique you can get an electric blow back pistol. Make sure you have a descent fps like around 330 (Feet Per Second). This gun is for beginners, or for some backyard fun.

You can pick one up at Airsoft Gi  click here
